What we collect

We only ask for what we need to quote a job, book a job and do a job:

• Contact details — your name, phone number and email address.
• Job details — the address, suburb, what's on your list, and any photos you upload.
• Booking details — the hours you book, the date and arrival window.
• Payment details — card payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
• Website data — basic technical information such as your browser type, device and the pages you looked at, collected automatically.

Why we collect it

To prepare quotes, confirm and carry out bookings, send invoices and receipts, keep job records and photos, answer your questions, and meet our tax, insurance and building-industry obligations. If you've asked for it, we may also send you occasional updates or reminders — you can opt out any time.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar tools to keep the site working properly and to see how people use it, so we can improve it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We only share it where we have to:

• Payment and email providers who help us take bookings and send confirmations.
• Suppliers or licensed trades brought in for part of your job.
• Your insurer, agent or landlord where you've asked us to deal with them.
• Our accountant, or anyone we're legally required to disclose to.

Some of these providers store data overseas. We take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled to the same standard.

Job photos

We photograph work for quoting, insurance and invoicing. If we'd like to use a photo of finished work on our website or social media, we'll ask first — and we don't publish addresses.

Keeping it safe

We store your information securely and limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect it from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. We keep records for as long as we need them for the job and for as long as the law requires — usually seven years — then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it, or opt out of marketing messages. Just ring or email and we'll sort it out.

Complaints

If you think we've mishandled your information, contact us first and we'll look into it. If you're still not happy, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
